Arctic Superflex Blue® 1/0 AWG Double Conductor Wire

Our flagship Arctic Superflex Blue® double conductor wire has been tested and used successfully for over three decades in the harsh environment of Alaska’s Arctic North Slope. 100% copper flexible fine stranding and cold tolerant TPE insulation makes our Jump Start cables tangle-free and easy to deploy, roll and stow, even in the worst weather. Cables built with Arctic Superflex Blue® are highly abrasion resistant and stand up to oil and gas, acids, chemicals, salt water and sunlight.

Solid Copper Clamps and Lugs

Polar Wire Jumpstart Cables are constructed with our high performance 1000 Amp Dual Live Jaw Cable clamps. These clamps are manufactured to last, with thick copper jaws, strong steel springs for secure connections, and durable full length overmolded PVC insulation in red and black for polarity identification. Solid copper lugs are crimped securely to the cable ends and sealed with durable heat shrink, then bolted—not riveted—to the clamps for easy replacement in case of accidental damage.

1000 Amp Dual Live Jaw clamps feature a braided copper bonding strap that sends continuous current to both jaws for higher amperage.

Adhesive Heat Shrink

Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink provides a quality finish and adds longevity and durability to Arctic Superflex Blue® Jumpstart Cables. Shrink applied to cable ends seals the lugs and conductors to protect against environmental contaminants and corrosive elements, and provides strain relief at split points. Black and red shrink colors denote polarity.

Jump Start Plug to Plug Connector Cables are constructed with tough, flexible Arctic Superflex Blue® wire and SAE J1283 plug connectors on each end. Adhesive heat shrink applied at split points provide durable strain relief.

Harness Components

Expand your existing harness system, or make your own configuation with individual components. Start with an Arctic Superflex Blue® clamp cable (jumper clamps to power connector) or connector cable (connectors on both ends) and swap in harness and clamp adaptor modules to suit each situation.
